Pro Ed provides a holistic approach

At Pro Ed we believe each child and adult is a unique and exceptional individual who should be able to function as a happy, healthy, accomplished member of their family and society as a whole.

We take a holistic approach when assessing and treating children and adults with a range of learning difficulties and behavioural problems including dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADD/ADHD, autism, and Asperger’s syndrome. We also specialise in the assessment of gifted and twice-exceptional children and offer on-going support to help them achieve greatness.

Helping families since 1993

Since 1993 the team at Pro Ed has provided learning support and behaviour modification for many children, adolescents and their families, and adults with the following challenges and special abilities:

  • Learning difficulties including reading, spelling and mathematics, reading comprehension, dyslexia, dyscalcula, and visual and auditory processing difficulties.
  • Motor skill challenges including messy/illegible handwriting, fine motor skills, gross motor co-ordination, and dyspraxia.
  • Behavioural problems including difficulty concentrating, ADD/ADHD, emotional issues, lack of social skills, autism, and Asperger’s.
  • Identification and assessment of gifted children and learning support for visual spatial learners and gifted children.
  • Strategies for coping including parenting skills, stress management, marriage guidance counselling, hypnotherapy, and anxiety issues.

Research has shown that early intervention and specialised help is crucial in allowing children and adults with learning and behavioural challenges and giftedness to reach their full potential. Pro Ed has the knowledge, experience and expertise to help you correctly fit the pieces of your puzzle together to build the complete picture.
